Rob Clouth
I don’t use this blog much to promote other artists, but I just wanted to mention how profoundly impacted I am by Rob Clouth’s music. I don’t understand it, the guy seems to be sort of a nobody as far as publicity goes, no official releases and mostly unknown, yet he manages to sculpt the most forward thinking music I have ever heard. His production is perfect, his compositions are an amazing blend of beautifully tormented melodies intricate glitches and massive in your face bass. Think Squarepusher’s “Do You Know Squarepusher” meets Clark’s “Body Riddle”, I didn’t think it was posssible but the guy has nailed it. Check out his tracks on soundcloud, they have been on repeat in my car for the last month or so (sorry Rob I totally jacked your stuff regardless of you not setting them as downloadable). This is the man to watch in the next few years.
